65th Wedding Anniversary Card

Hi,

Parents of a friend of ours recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary.
Now, while I'm reasonably good at knowing which precious stone/metal etc represents specific Anniversaries like 25, 30, 40 etc I had absolutely no idea what was used for a 65th Anniversary. What can I say, Thank goodness for Google!! The stone it transpires is Blue Sapphire, so for the Blue element I used Blueberry Bushel.
The flowers are Vellum punched out using the medium Daisy & Perennial Flower Punches & they have been heat embossed using Silver Emboss Powder. Whilst I would usually only use current Stampin' Up! Products I have gone slightly off piste with this Card in that I have used a bought elsewhere Base Card as I wanted a larger Card Base (8" x 8"). I have also added 3 sprigs of floral arrangement pearls into the mix of the flowers & because I wanted the 65 to stand out I have used the Retired Number Dies. Given the occasion I just felt it was OK for these slight deviations just so that the Card would be just right & the one I was seeing in my head.
Everything else is current & can be purchased via my
ONLINE SHOP, here is the LINK:-

Because of the size of the Card & it's structure I had to make a Box for it. Below is my You Tube Tutorial for the Card & Box:-

Until next time

Take care
