Hi,

Recently I came across a beautiful Card on one of the Facebook Groups that I belong to. It was by an Australian Stampin' Up! Demonstrator named Denise MacCabe & the technique she used is Called The Northern Lights.

I have to say that I had not heard of this technique before, so I watched her Video & then carried out a further investigation on You Tube where I found a number of Videos. I loved the effect on the Card I saw & had to have a go.

The effect is achieved using Sponges & Ink, it is a simple technique, but a bit messy, so this is probably a Card not to make if you plan on going out for the evening (not unless you plan to wear Gloves!!)
