STILL AVAILABLE BUT SELLING FAST!!
The Paper Pumpkin Box of Sunshine Kit.
This Kit is only available on a while supplies last basis & whilst it is selling fast, at the time of publishing this Blog Post, it is still available. This is a brilliant Kit to share some Sunshine with Family & Friends. What I like so much about this Kit is that as well as having enough supplies to make 8 Cards there are plenty of Die Cut Elements & Stickers left over not only to decorate the actual Kit Box if you want to use that to send to a gift to someone special, but also to make additional Cards or to decorate Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes.
Here is the first of my Tutorials giving ideas on how to use the left over elements from this Kit:-

Finally:-
This Saturday is World Card Making Day.
If you are not familiar with this day, it was first introduced back in 2006 by a Paper Crafting Magazine & it falls on the first Saturday of October.
The original idea was to encourage Crafters to get together & get a head start on the Holiday Card Making Season & as such offers the opportunity for Friends to gather together to make cards & simply socialise.
Of course fast forward to this year 2020 & the concept of socialising is a dim distant memory!! So, World Card Making day even if you are in the habit of celebrating it will look very different this year. But what positive can we take from it?
I have to be honest & say that my coming Saturday is accounted for (with boring things like Housework & Batch Cooking!!) However this year more than ever I think this special day deserves to be highlighted. In 2020 when we cannot necessarily meet freely with Friends & Family, Cards have played an enormous role in keeping us all connected.
I'm sure like me you have relied heavily on Technology to keep you connected, in all seriousness where would we be without things like Messenger, Whatsapp, Zoom etc. However I know from comments I've had from recipients of Cards I've sent that they have really appreciated receiving a Card. Likewise Cards that have been sent to us have meant so much, they are something tangible that you can read & see from someone you are missing. We always keep Cards we have received on view for a time but this year they have stayed out so much longer.
I revisited the Post that I wrote from last year about World Card Making Day & apart from realising one of my sentences didn't make sense!! I found this quote that I included in the Post which I found on one of the Websites I googled about World Card Making Day & it is this:-
"World Card Making Day Reminds us that the best gifts come from the Heart & Hands & Vision of the people we love"
How true this is, so even if it's not on World Card Making Day, why not take some time out in the days ahead to make a Card for Friends or Family that you haven't been able to see for a while, just to let them know you miss them & are thinking of them.
Have a great October.
Stay safe & Take care
Best wishes
